Firedoor & Gildas Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Firedoor and Gildas Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”) are sold by Firedoor and Gildas (the listed seller) and issued via Square AU Pty Ltd (“Square”).
By purchasing, activating, or using a Gift Card, you agree to:
These Firedoor & Gildas Gift Card Terms and Conditions, and Square’s Give & Get Local Terms of Service.
1. Agreeing to These Terms
1.1 Gift Cards are available to purchase online at shop.firedoor.com.au (redirecting to Square’s secure order page) or in venue via the Square point-of-sale system.
1.2 Digital Gift Cards are issued electronically upon payment.
1.3 The maximum value for a single gift card is $2,000 AUD. Gift card orders in one day by a single person cannot exceed $10,000 AUD.
1.4 Risk and title in the Gift Card passes to you upon electronic delivery (for digital cards).
1.5 Gift Cards can be reloaded with additional value in venue or online at any time.
2. Validity and Redemption
2.1 Gift Cards are redeemable only for food and beverage purchases in venue at Firedoor or Gildas.
2.2 Gift Cards cannot be used for:
Reservation pre-payments or event deposits (e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, New Year’s Eve),
Online merchandise, or
Purchasing additional gift cards.
2.3 Gift Cards are valid for three (3) years from the date of issue, in accordance with the listed seller’s terms.
Important: While Square’s system states that balances do not expire, as the listed seller, Firedoor and Gildas Gift Cards are valid for three (3) years only from the date of purchase.
2.4 Remaining balances may be used for future transactions until the card expires or the balance reaches $0.
2.5 Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, and no change or refunds are provided.
2.6 If the total transaction exceeds the remaining Gift Card balance, the balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.
2.7 Fink group gift cards are no longer accepted at Firedoor or Gildas.
3. Lost or Stolen Cards
3.1 Treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost, stolen, or damaged cards will not be replaced or refunded except as required by law.
3.2 Firedoor and Gildas are not liable for unauthorised use or for cards purchased through unauthorised third parties.

4. Use of Gift Cards for Promotions
4.1 Gift Cards may be used as personal or business gifts, but not for marketing, advertising, or other promotional purposes without prior written approval from the listed seller.
4.2 Use of the Firedoor or Gildas name, logo, or associated branding in connection with marketing or advertising is prohibited without consent.
4.3 Approval requests should be directed to info@firedoor.com.au.
5. Privacy
5.1 Firedoor and Gildas collect personal information from purchasers and recipients in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5.2 We collect this information to process and manage Gift Cards, communicate with purchasers, and improve our services.
5.3 We may disclose information to Square AU Pty Ltd and other service providers who assist in the operation of our gift card program.
5.4 By purchasing a Gift Card, you consent to receiving communications related to your order and, where applicable, marketing updates in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. General
6.1 As of August 2025, Gift Cards are issued by Square AU Pty Ltd and sold by Firedoor and Gildas as the listed seller.
6.2 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
6.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6.4 To dispute a transaction or balance, please contact info@firedoor.com.au within 30 days of the transaction date.
6.5 We encourage responsible consumption of alcohol. Please refer to the National Health & Medical Research Council’s Australian Alcohol Guidelines at nhmrc.gov.au.
